Glenn Richardson, go ahead and sue me...
...For most of this year, I've taken on Georgia House Speaker Glenn Richardson and his frequently asinine comments on the floor of the Georgia House.
My favorite Richardson-ism by far is "PeachCare and health care is not a constitutional right." Although, a close second was Speaker Richardson saying that he had "no idea" that the gap of uninsured Americans was widening.
Today, courtesy of Cracker Squire and InsiderAdvantage Georgia, Georgia's illustrious Speaker of the House gives us this gem:
Those dadgum blog sites. You know what I predict is going to happen? I predict somebody’s going to sue one of those site domains for slander, and somebody’s going to get hit with a big suit because there’s no accountability, and they say and do things about people that are blatantly false.
Those dadgum blog sites, huh?
Well, Speaker Richardson, I'll tell you what...you want to sue, go right ahead. But before you do sue, I highly suggest you search the archives of this and other Georgia political "blog sites" and find some very strong evidence of slander. My prediction is that you won't because most Georgia bloggers provide sources and very finely-tuned research to their postings.
