The Atlanta Press Club Announces Its Run-off Debate Series

The Atlanta Press Club will host three debates for the general election run-offs giving candidates a chance to debate the issues. The debates will take place Sunday, November 23 at Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), located at 260 14th Street in Midtown, in front of a live studio audience.

Press club members, journalists, college students, and supporters are invited to be part of the audience.

The schedule for the debates is as follows:

U.S. Senate

Invited Candiates: Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin
Taping: Sunday, November 23 from 3 – 4 p.m. at GPB
Airing: Sunday, November 23 at 9:30 a.m. on GPB

PSC District 4

Invited Candiates: Lauren McDonald and Jim Powell
Taping: Monday, November 24 2:15 – 2:45 p.m. at GPB
Airing: Monday, November 24 at 7 p.m. on GPB

Court of Appeals

Invited Candiates: Sara Doyle and Mike Sheffield
