In the last month of 2011, the Democratic Party of Georgia raised $50,011.16 according to campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Elections Commission. The state Democratic Party has $55,771.67 in the bank, but owes $30,119.17 to Political C.F.O.s for compliance consulting fees.
The Georgia Republican Party reported raising $48,449.79 during the month of December. The GOP has $762,666.97 in the bank and no debt.
